e46 transmission mounts?

I recently picked up a 2008 335i with the 6 speed manual. In the parts list I noticed that around one year ago the car had e46 m3 transmission mounts installed, and I was wondering what advantages/reasons were there for him to install them. The car is in completely mint condition with 0 rust and everything maintained.

This is a good upgrade - they’re OEM, stiffer so less shifting slop
