Best location for boost pipe for boost gauge

Hi I have UK E90 325d 3.0 diesel M57

Where is the best place to split boost pipe into for in cabin boost gauge

Basically looking for vacuum pipe for boost reading

Is there somewhere on inlet manifold vacuum ? or somewhere easier

Thanks in advance

JC

Why would you use a vac line for boost pressure? This isn't a gasser.

Best bet would be to tap near the EGR/Intake manifold. Could also tap the upper boost pipe if you wanted.

Jonny - Unsure if you are all stock tune or modified. Reason I ask is if you have some modifications, the aftermarket Bimmertune part can be put in place of the EGR (I'm speaking to the North American design now). There is a port on the side of this after market piece perfect for getting boost pressure. Alternately, people have a bung welded onto the aluminum portion of the post IC boost pipe and put boost sensor there.

Bimmertune part sold on UK ebay. Please be careful as to proper one to fit your UK based 335D and good luck.
