E93 - Hydraulic fluid leak
Hi everyone,
A few months ago, my roof stopped converting halfway. I took it to a mechanic to find that the hydraulic fluid had leaked. He refilled it and it stopped working a few days later again. At this point, we refilled it and I haven't used the convertible roof since. Should I buy a new Hydraulic pump like the one attached or could it be something else? Thanks guys |

Ask your Tech to check your hydraulic rams and the lines connecting to them. I have seem them leak from age. Considering your roof is able to still work when the system is refilled, I would say your pump is okay. Unless you have a pool of fluid where the pump lives.
