Is there any news on the final production velocity stacks? I thought they were meant to be available for sale a couple of months ago?

Best I can say is that the tuning is taking longer then expected. Don’t think anyone is at a final tune yet as the problems are timing, smooth throttle response, better fuel economy

I'm guessing tuning for velocity stacks and cams could be a nightmare then when they are released? Any idea if this is on 22RPDs future plans?

I’m not sure, if 22RPD gets solid velocity stacks tune, and these cams still use valvetronic then I assume it can be done

We have replaced the exhaust camshaft ledge due to scoring from being on track with less then FULL oil on digital dipstick. We had reduced timing, some exhaust scoring.

At the same time we installed MILVs from CobraMarty for increased lift

And cleaned up the valve cover to redo my crinkle black valve cover.

We are back on the roads with healthy engine, for more beta testing more.

butt meter has seen in increase of power and torque at almost every point in rev range

What are you thoughts on this video?

I think you were in contact with Bruno when he was testing? I have MILVs fitted at the moment but hope to move to upgraded cams from StageFP or BDS once they have been released/tested a bit more.

Contact with Bruno? No
To my understanding, technically it’s just changing the position of the eccentric shaft so at a given rpm point, you have more valve lift.

MILVs on N54 manifold is WAY more noticeable then it was for me on velocity stacks.
On N54 manifold at this point cause not more much tuning needed, pretty much done on mine.
I still have 2A87 exhaust mechanism so I do have to tear back into the car.

If you plan on getting these velocity stacks, good healthy engine is required for sure.

gonna have to get readjusted to the n54 manifold with milvs now. trumpets are drone-y and higher fuel economy, doing lots of highway.

Economy or consumption? Did you run a filter? And plan for them to put a pendulum on the trumpets?

consumption. some beta users have same fuel economy while mine has increased at least by +4-5L/100km at highway speeds.
3.91 diffs and over 3k isnt helping.
running a K&N prefilter over the trumpets

So timing was off most likely due to the camshaft sprockets, it was pre recall but still went bad on me. With 94 + octane booster we hitting our target timing goals.

Fuel economy has been a lot better (cruise above 3k 17~mpg or 14~L/100km), maybe because of timing and fuel quality it was dumping more to compensate.

I’ve been daily driving them now for over a week, been dead reliable for me, very happy now for what it makes.

With MILVs now, and my previous dyno being calculated to dyno jet and fix for timing.
Without MILVs was 261rwhp correct timing on Dyno jet
With MILVs, assuming the same power curve to other manifolds. I’m assuming around 270rwhp

I could dyno again now but it’s a 30 degree difference (now 0c or 32f) in temperature so I think I gotta wait for summer to make it fair.

You should do it now. Temps don't matter so much after a certain point.

Mustang Dyno we put down: 238HP 205TQ. Doing conversion to dynojet as everyone for N52 seems to measure Dyno we made 257.49RWHP 219.46RWHP.

Main things I can improve on,
beginning there is a bump in torque that’s my clutch slipping, should be able to get some more torque for longer in the rev range when clutch is replaced.

FBO with MILVs, besides stock resonator stock muffler so that has to be hurting some top end too. Still in very happy with these numbers.

Winter Rims & Tires installed - heavier then summers

Also it’s RWD Xdelete so spinning of a transfer case as well. +10c maybe outside
