Please help me diagnoise Transmission / Camshaft Position Error
Hello,
I have a 2006 330i Sedan with the N52 and 102k miles on it. I was driving at about 70mph when all of the following happened: - Sudden engine stumble / loss of power, but the engine kept running. I was able to drive off the freeway with a slight loss of power - the transmission may have been stuck in a high gear or in a limp mode. - Instrument Cluster Warning Lights Illuminated: BRAKE, Dynamic Stability Control, Service Engine Soon - Instrument Cluster Screen Warning Icons: Transmission Gear Icon, Transmission P not engaged (Car Icon with arrows pointing forwards and backwards) - Nav Screen Warning Messages: Transmission Malfunction, Flat Tire Monitor Note: In 2006, BMW uses "FTM" which checks for flat tires by comparing the wheel speed sensors on each wheel. The system does not actually measure tire pressure for this model year. I have done the following: - Read codes using XHP Flashtool. This car is on the stock transmission firmware - I only used flashtool to check for codes. I can use INPA to check for more codes, but I will need help to understand exactly which menus to use and which modules to read. Please see the attached pictures and let me know what you think is wrong with the car. Based on some searching I've done on the forum, it may have something to do with the crankshaft*** position sensor. Thanks! Last edited by UndergroundLare; 09-12-2024 at 03:01 PM..
