Rear suspension question, Lower control arm, with photos.

I’m looking for some info/advice from the suspension gurus out there. I recently had local shop install Koni Yellows and Swift Spec-R springs on my E90. 3 of the four corners look great height wise, one rear corner looks dumped. All the rear OEM rubber spring perches were re-used in the install. Is it possible to adjust the ride height with the lower control arm in the rear? I’ve attached photos of the wheels and the lower control arms in the rear.

The left rear lower control arm looks to be mounted lower than the right, based on the position of the bolt, see photos (left than right). I’m only looking to gain 1/2 – 3/4 of an inch.

You cannot adjust the lower control arm to gain height. It looks like something was left out or not installed correctly. Does it always look like that on different surfaces?

The left rear is consistently lower than the other side. I have noticed slight variations in ride hight when parked in different places.

My concern is how low the left lower control arm is secured (bolt position) in relation the right side.

Did they leave the spring perch on one side and not the other? Top or bottom perches?

Those are eccentric bolts for adjusting camber (I think, not an expert). You are just seeing the washer at a different clock-position. The bolt goes through one side of a hole, through the hole for the bushing and out the other side of the hole. There isn't any space in that hole, it is not sitting lower or higher, it is through a hole just big enough for the bolt.

The bolt locks into the washer and the camber is adjusted for how that washer is positioned.

Your problem is somewhere else. Something is missing or installed ass backwards. I am surprised your shop turned it over to you like that.

I can visually confirm the top rubber perches are installed, I believe the bottoms are in as well by jamming a finger through the hole in the control arm and feeling around. I recall reading somewhere the uppers are a different thickness although I wasn't able to definitively confirm.

You should take it back to the shop. It is obviously wrong.

Failing that, you should jack it up, remove wheels and inspect all the attach points. Should be pretty obvious.

Yo this is a decade old but the only relevant post I've seen on this issue. I'm having the exact same issue, so I was wondering if you ever pinpointed your cause.

I Received a bad set of springs, Swift swapped them for another set, it solved the problem.
