Vin coding for Modules

Got an e60 650i that needs some modules coded for the VIN number. I know this is the e90 forum but there isn't a coding section for the 6 series forum. I normally use inpa/ncs expert to program modules. Can someone give me a coding vin for dummies haha. Cheers

Vin matching modules is the same for e60 and e90. You can either use tool32 or winkfp. You'll then have to default code the module that you replaced with ncs expert. There's plenty of very informative posts, more informative posts than I can write right now on the e90post forums. Just search "e90 how to vin match modules" or some variation of that.

Hey friend , can you give me an idea on what to do here, car all works fine but cant code frm with bimmercode and after that when checking with inpa most of modules dont show vin, will using winkfp to code the vin to cas , frm and other modules will make the car synced again?

Just use ncs expert so code. Bimmercode won’t let you code specific software version of frm3

Keep in mind there is a chance module will crash after coding
