Anyone with wiring/technical knowledge help!!!

Back story:
Had my 335i for a month absolutely love it. But I have never been able to listen to music rather than buy a y cable I decided to get a car play screen.

When swapping the screen I noticed another wiring harness behind the dash that is not connected and a multimedia video interface box and I’m not sure if they are stock or needed. The wiring harness has had a couple wires cut which fees into a black box of some sort which I will provide photos of. The real problem comes from the aux not being registered. I can select the aux in the external devices but the slider is stuck on zero and does not let me adjust it.

All issues with the electrics in the car are:

- Flashing interior light (left door floor light + rear cabin light)

- Rear left speaker has no audio

- Hands free bluetooth constantly displaying “please wait…”

- Aux not being registered

- error codes which I have pictured below

What I know has been done to the car:

- aftermarket amp

- it has had m3 dials installed

- M drive menu in the I drive even though it doesnt do anything and can’t be used

I will provide photos of the wiring harness mentioned and the multi media box. I will also provide photos of the comboxs in the boot along with the amp.

Couple solutions come to mind, resetting the idrive using Bimmer code to revert back to factory settings to fix the aux but will that interfere with the aftermarket m3 dials and replacing the mulf2 box.

Could it all be related or do I only have to fix one thing to fix the aux?

Any ideas or knowledge about all of this would really go a long was I have no idea what to do next and I dread the thought of taking it to a shop and being charged loads if it’s something I could fix myself. Apologies for the poor phots of the multi media box as it is tucked up behind the dash.

Thank you in advance

Somebody has hacked the wiring to install that stuff.
Any head unit additions or replacements in these cars are a can of worms.

On the speaker that's out check the wiring especially if they have done speaker replacements to .

Engine light is probably a real Engine issue.

Better to get BMW Standard Tools and Ista D
