I don't think it's that simple. Even if you get a working China turbo it's still poor quality. Sub-standard internals and low quality materials. Maybe it'll do the job and make a bit of power so most are happy.

When tuning hybrids it's always the RBs that really shine. I see far more issues with exhaust manifold restriction on China turbos, and even reputable makes like TTE. They will make boost but the power doesn't really increase and you get misfires.

I don't think people understand there's more to turbos than compressor size and blade count. RB Turbos have a well earned reputation.
