Possible solution For the dreaded 2D2E
I believe the throttle angle valve is the black box located on the side of the throttle body. Swapped throttle bodies out along with manifold sensor and 3.5 bar map sensor at the charge pipe. Car drives extremely smooth since all the parts replaced. Manifold sensor had been changed before all with no change (Periodic codes). Throttle body and 3.5 bar changed at the same time. Codes cleared alone with adaptations reset. So far so good with several key cycles, miles, and pulls. Hope this sheds some light on this code.

I have this code very rarely, but it’s come back in the last month. Car feels zero different when it happens.
Did you have any other symptoms besides the check engine light? This is the only code present when I get it. |

I stopped getting the code, at least since I last posted. Didn’t do anything. Annoying, but it’s gone for now. I’d replace the throttle body if I were you.

nope! only during startup. I do have some weird stft issue around 1000-1500 rpm where the car will go lean around 16 afr but only during a harder accel on that rpm

Does anyone have an update on this? I’m having the same problem only after cold start. It’s usually accompanied with other control mixture codes but now I’m starting to get a misfire also on cylinder five… Once again only after cold start and only since it’s gotten colder outside, I have noticed that my two front O2 sensor seem loose. I don’t know if this can cause it. Thinking about replacing all injectors with index 12, but I hate just throwing parts at the car. Car runs great aside from throwing this code with other mixture codes on some cold starts after sitting all night. Hope this information helps us figure out this problem.
