All aftermarket rebuilders have issues with ZF torque converter because their rebuild is like casino.
So for rebuild either need to get to ZF center (do not know if such exist in US) or get at ZF rebuilt torque converter. By retail price is cost 2.5k, by may be some discounts exist.
So now your option only to push your rebuilder to fix gearbox.

Shop owner said the flex disk looked great.

Here is the synapsis: Car is warm. And just drive normally. If I put the car in M, say 3rd gear and just slowly get up to 3000 RPM you feel the shimmy, like an unbalancing and its very noticeable. Also, driving in D and just doing 60mph on a flat straight highway you feel it. Also, from about 2200-3200 RPM on Rev you feel it a bit.

We had it up on the lift to check if the exhaust was rubbing anywhere, it isn't. The ONLY thing I haven't had off my car on my own, is the transmission, so I am not in the know of what could be missing. A rubber bushing or something the transmission sits on? I have new transmission mounts from ECS Tuning, polyurethane. I installed them before the transmission rebuild so I know they are OK (no vibration, just horrible slipping)

I installed the new tune but I am absolutely not going WOT anymore until this is resolved.

Thank u for the response but I do not understand what you are saying.

Essentially he’s saying your torque converter could be bad. I think it’s possible since power from the engine flows through the torque converter and then to the transmission so you could experience drivability issues at any and all rpm’s for example.

How the does a TC go bad from a transmission rebuild? The guy I used has done 100's of these rebuilds. His Yelp rating alone with blow you away. Always 5 stars.

My car was FINE before this in regards to this issue of vibration'ish going on. Just isnt adding up it going 'out' with the rebuild. If this guy was trial n erroring everything he would have pissed off at least 1 customer.

In addition, I am getting no codes, not even shadow codes.

It's only at the specific RPM window I stated and it's all the time. Everything I've read up on with TC shimmy is its not always, comes n goes. Mine is always.

This is frustrating AF.
