Injector coding error

I have replaced the injector on cylinder 1 on my E90 N43 engine and tried to code the injector using INPA. I have slected F9 (Systemdiagnosen), Shift+F4,(Injectorengenableich) but the screen does does not show the expected graphs of the injectors' current values.
I had not disconnected the battery before swapping the injector. I saw a post online where it was suggested to disconnect the battery for 30 min and then try the coding again, but that has not worked either.
Any help would be much appreciated.
