v81 Baseline Dyno (6spd) + Video

Just dyno'd my June 2008 production (v81) 6spd 335i today. Bone stock, around 1700 miles on the clock, 93 octane pump gas. DynoJet model 224 at Mainstream Performance in Powder Springs,GA. I've dyno'd several cars here and all numbers were consistent with other forum members at those times.

I think the results are pretty favorable. I had them pull from 1krpm to test the lag on v81, but this isn't a load bearing dyno so I was informed that the 2k rpm peak torque wasn't an accurate takeaway. Dyno dynamics was recommended to try and see if peak torque was actually hitting at 1400rpm.

Those are great stock numbers, even for a dynojet pull.

Looks about right for 6MT and 93 Octane.

Now start the modding and you can see the gains.

I think it was 3rd. I usually do 4th, but the operator did whatever he wanted to do I guess. They did do a back to back on a car that day to prove 3rd versus 4th did not make a difference for power readings.

Yeah, and this wasn't a load bearing dyno. I wanted to see it hit at 1400rpm but was told a load bearing dyno would be the best bet to see that.
