can't decide on a exhaust set up. need help new to this!
so i got my 07 328i a while ago and i just decided to keep it for a while and start to do some mods and such and i really want to get some sound out of it, this is my first “build” so ive been trying to do research and can’t decide on what to do i want a good sound but nothing to obnoxious where i would annoy people and just be that guy with a slow loud car (bc i understand a n52 so its nothing crazy) but i do wanna hear my car i really liked the sound of a res and muffler delete on video but im scared it will be to much should u try and go that route or i also thought about getting an magnaflow muffler with a res delete if so i dont know which one there’s so many and its intimidating to look at. i do understand with the res delete i might get some drone but i think willing to have if i get the rasp and burble i get from it too.

if you worried about noise, cops, neighbors, and especially if you're automatic and cant manage rpm where you need to be quiet ; go with a valved muffler.
You'll find nice one on ali in stainless, exact copies from major brand, for dirt cheap. Use pneumatic valves, they are more reliable. go to local muffler shop, leave the rest stock, or maybe resonator delete. I'm pushing 600bhp on one and it didnt fail 'yet'. a game changer for the respect of other and noisy af when you want to hit those country roads. |
