NorCal Audio Shop

I'm in the market right now for a solid audio shop in SF (or even just the Bay Area) that can build me a custom sub enclosure. My search thus far has been discouraging since it appears that Bassforms is the only company that produces and enclosure that fits in the trunk between the tail light and wheel well. The best example I've seen so far was jmh's 335xi, so I'd like to emulate it:

In another thread Ray mentioned Audiomobile and Audio Dimensions in SF, but it was about a year ago and I'm wondering if anyone has other suggestions and/or personal experience.

Soundwave in San Carlos.

Top notch service and you will be impressed by their attention to detail and knowledge.

personally, there are very few audio shops in the bay area that i'd let touch my car. the two places i'd recommend are sound innovations in hayward, and simplicity sound in sj. while they are not the closest to sf, both have significant experience in putting together competition level installs. at the least, neither of them would have any problems duplicating that setup you have pictured above.

ernie (sound innovations) tends to be on the expensive side, but imo is worth the cost if you're looking for the best. bing (simplicity sound) usually has more reasonable pricing...but last i checked, he was booked for the next 6 months or so.

on a sidenote - i've seen some of audiomobile's work, and they seem decent...though i believe they're located in oakland (chinatown). hope that helps.
