Prev Dinan Springs, ZSP now Dinan + Koni Sport - MAJOR DIFFERENCE
I purchased my E90 back in Jan and the previous owner had installed Dinan Springs and the Fact ZSP shocks.
While the shocks showed now signs of wear or damage (no leakage or undamped movement), they would bottom on speed bumps and would "crash" over uneven pavement. I ordered Yellow Koni Sports...and spent a day installing using the DIY from the Forum. Make sure and search Koni on the suspension forum, so you take note of the setting and cuts on the bump stops. First impression...before setting the front to +1 ![]() The car was bumpy...I felt like a ricer bouncing on the bottom of the suspension. Then...twisted the knobs to +1 on the front and (previously noted) +1.5 on the rear. ![]() What a difference!! ![]() Anyone considering a "drop" needs to add good shocks to the mix. The stockers do not suffice with reduced travel.
