Thumbs up Awesome Dinan sale going on now.

There is a pretty cool sale going on right now for 335 parts on Dinan's website.

20% discount applying to: wheels, suspension components, exhaust systems, and oil cooler systems.

Check it out: http://www.dinancars.com/bmw/specials

Damn, it is too bad I can't double discount this. I would have my friend by it and then send in the rebate. That would make the suspension kit very worth it.

Actually, I had a member drive my car over the weekend who has a JB3. He was quite impressed with the Dinan flash. He was out here on vacation and I offered him to drive my car to get an idea what it feels like.

If it is a lease than I would probably go that route though. No point buying something permanent.

An interesting link. Dealers apparently trying to offload Dinan at a discount too.

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=167728

Of course, I'm putting more stock in purplewidow's post, rather than the newbie's....but still...if its happening...

Valid comment, but that discussion probably belongs in the other thread.

I don't know...we're about due for a Chicken Little Dinan thread...it's been over a week since the tuner stacking rant took place.

Interesting, I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that they sold the company last week to an equity investment group.

Maybe its just another sale but Im leaning to believe he is trying to make as much money on his inventory as possible before he has to turn it over to the new owners. Regardless, it would appear that the public gets to benefit as well. Its too bad that even though its 20% off its still over priced!!

I'm not sure about all of that but I do think I'm going to order the free flow exhaust now.

Thumbs down Well something going on; Wait! BMW cancels development of E92 M3 CSL

Wow, and apparently to stop making V8s. They have reduced production to a quater in Munich. Let the rumor mill begin. No more performance for the power hungry crowd.

Its all here. and according to Car magazine the Audi RS5 is cancelled too. Viva fuel prices, sanity prevails and people wont buy those cars, so y'alls tooned 335s will be the kings of the road. Hurry buy all the Dinan stuff while you still can. Something makes me think BMW is eying this market to make up for the lost sales on CSL and higher performance M3s. Soon we will be looking back fondly at the muscle car Toyota Corolla days.

At risk of agreeing with someone, he might be on to something...I stopped by my local BMW dealership and they have 8 M3s sitting in a pretty little row. The same 8 they've had for almost 4 months. Asked my salesman and he said "they're over priced." Add that to the mileage and the gas guzzler tax and you have a recipe for disaster.

The M3 is not selling because it has real competition, for the first time. In the past, the S4 was the only real competitor to the M3, but even then it came up short.

Right now there is the RS4, C63, ISF, Cayman, and Skyline in the price range. Before, the Merc was really just a boat with torque. Now the C63 is a performer. Lexus was a joke, now, well, they have a more powerful engine from the factory. And Porsche had nothing to offer in this price point.

Every champion eventually meets their match. Its inevitable, its the way of the world. Soon enough someone figures you out and beats you.
