For some time now we've been looking into buying a used BMW 335i sedan. Finally I run into some interesting looking deals.
Although I rather have a manual instead of an automatic, the car underneath looks OK, only need to convince the wife now to buy a semi-automatic.

But I’m also a bit out of my comfort zone. Although I bought my last two cars on pictures only, I never bought an used car on a pictures only basis. And because of the distance between me (NYC) and the 335i in Chicago, physical inspection by myself is not easy. And probably also not the smartest thing to do, since I don't consider myself an expert in BMWs.

So besides the independent inspection I can order per eBay: Is somebody willing to do a global check out of this car for me to see if it's looks good? And, more importantly, also to check out if it drives OK? Especially an 335i owner should be able to form an opinion if the car drives as a 335i should drive.
Of course I’ll reimburse you for your costs. And another of course: this basically is a favour I receive from you willing to help me out, you’re not bearing any responsibility or more of that legal crap for just giving me your opinion. After all, your opinion is what I’m requesting. I did some research on the forum: Perillo has a mixed reputation at best, but I will only have to deal with them once.

Perillo has a BMW dealer in Chicago and they have a great rep. Not sure why the car isnt selling at their BMW dealer though.
