2008 or 2009 328i Sedan
hi guys... I am having a hard time making up my mind.
Should I go for a 2008 328i sedan with 2.9% finance (wondering if the deals I get would make up for the depreciation) or a 2009 328i sedan. I am also considering the 2008 335i Sedan with 0.9% finance. Please advice. Thanks... |

2009 all the way. That is if your getting i-Drive. The new configuration is MUCH better then the 2008's. If not then i'd get the 2008 for the better price because the only thing i think you'd be missing out on is slightly different tail lights (and maybe different set up to the headlights so they're more like the e92's. not sure about this one though.)

I'd say go for the 335i over the 328 if they are both 08 MY. The difference in interest rates will help offset the higher cost of the 335i. If you go with an 09 you will pay more (both in price increase & interest rates) but the lower depreciation will help balance the cost. So basically if it's between the 08's you should go with the 335i. For the 09s it all depends on how much of a difference in depreciation is between an 08 and 09.

Thanks for all the responses.
I am not interested in the iDrive. The options I am considering are manual, sports, xenon and ipod/usb. When would the 2009's start selling at the dealers? Every dealer I ask gives a different answer. Quote:

Also, I personally think the older style wheels look better but that's just my opinion. I'd go with the '08 cars, especially if you aren't getting a 'new' color. Also, as others have said, the 0.9% financing on a '08 335 is a very nice deal. It probably won't come again, so if you found the '08 335 you want jump on it |
