brake pedal difference after brake fluid service

I brought my car in for brake fluid service as required under warranty.
I notice the pedal is completely depressed when I go to start the car.
Prior to the service, I had to press the pedal all the way down prior to start up.
Anyone experience this? Is this normal?

Doesn't sound normal to me. How about normal braking, do you have more pedal travel now? If so I'd take it back.

Sounds like you need it bled. Your service person didn't bleed the brake when they changed the fluid.
