Shadowline trim ...

i want some shadowline trim for my car and was wondering whats the best way to obtain it ... i know that i can get a shop to put vinyl over the stock trim but i also know that one of the vendors is making matte black trim that replaces the stock one ... what do you guys suggest i do? want to save as much money as possible haha for other mods of course XP

See if anyone would do you a swap, im sure someone with black trim might want to swap with chrome.

There is a DIY on here showing how someone else did it

But if i remember right, once you take off the chrome trim, its not reusable. I was planning on this as well but then that little note stopped the whole thing

more like $950 - $1000. go to getbmwparts.com or PM Jason or Evan from Tischer. They're the only ones that carry this OEM piece.

edit: correction, $780 for the matte and $1025 for the gloss.

no kidding. A vendor can easily make this piece and make a TON of money off it.

I'd rather a vendor make this than another damn cone filter, exhaust, etc.

both trims can get creased during uninstall, so they might not be reusable, speaking from personal experience X2 here
