I find it laughable for some to believe the next M6 will rival this car. Guys, for that to happen BMW would have to totally redesign the 6 series into a true sportscar and not the GT car it currently is.

They did a perfect job making adjustments to the body. The visual cues are spot on. I love the front in that first pic. The slats look mean.

+1

I think it looks better with only a few slats. I also love the rear design with the blacked out part. That looks stunning against red paintwork!

It is without doubt the best looking supercar currently on the market. It's also great that it finally has the performance to match the looks.

BMW slipped up badly by not building their own supercar, to most non-car nuts it looks like Audi are the true driver's choice for something sporty. Maybe that was Audi's intention all a long.

i still havent seen an audi or benz able compete with the mclaren F1 yet
maybe thats why they havent made a new supercar yet? because the one they made 10 years ago is still one of the top dogs

but their 18 y.o. kids who are buying this do not know

It is very beautiful.
But I think the LP560-4 is way better.

The McLaren if built today would carry a price tag of 1 million pound so you can hardly compare something costing a tenth and expect it to stand up.

Next, the last time I looked Audi was owned by VAG who happen to have built the Bugatti Veyron, a car which totally destroys the F1 in every way possible. Point being, when you compare like with like the McLaren is found wanting.

You could possibly be right, but I will wait for a few test comparison reviews to 100% agree with your opinion. After all the normal R8 has equipped itself remarkably well with a lot less.

The new R8 V10 will be a good car for the price tag, I would'nt so no to one!

It's a fucking beautiful car without a doubt, top five for me for sure, but I can't say it's better looking than the LP560 or CGT. Over here in America, I'm not sure if Audi is still recognized. Most people I talk to still don't know about the R8, or they think it's a TT, not joking. People over here don't catch on to things very well.

this is what they needed to do in the first place, the 4.2L in my opinion was a joke in this car.
