Connecting Amp Plug

Please someone help me!!!!

I can't, for the frick'n life of me, plug the long amp plug back into the stock amp. It's the longer one that slides, not the one that just plugs in. I can't line the holes correctly in order to slide it on. I was going at it for almost an hour!!!

For the people that have disconnected it and replugged it, did it easily slide back into place? Anyone have any tricks or suggestions?

I don't want to have to go to the dealer just for this.

PLEASE HELP!!!

the plug has a black piece that slides left to right..slide it all the way to the right..then line up the holes..then push it back all the way to the left..when u push it to the left it will automatically plug back into the amp.

Thank you soooooooo much!!!! You are awesome. When pulling off the plug, I didn't realize that it slides down. I spent over an hour trying to cram that damn piece back in.
