Standard headlight Bulbs... One just blown
Just had a warning indicator come on showing a headlight.... never seen this one before, so I did a circuit of the car to check and found the nearside main headlight out...
Hey ho... I have the standard units which I assume are 55w H7 Halogens... (the guy who specced it obviously didn't want the fancy HIDS, Xenons....) So, the question is, do I need to buy direct from the dealer for £1,000 or can I get one from Halfords for £9.99? Seems I can get them off eBay for £2.99... cool.. Can I get a brighter or different bulb from somewhere local (i.e up the power rating or go to a whiter builb without issue) or am I stuck with being Mr normal...? Yes you can just pick them up at Halfords but you might want to read this thread (and follow the link to Powerbulbs)
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=198759 BTW You might as well change the pair whilst you are at it. There is a good chance that the other one will go soon too. |

Thanks mate. Top link! Especially as they're about 2 miles from my house and I must have driven past them a few times!
They don't have a trade counter (or open Saturdays), but I'll put my order in for the Phillips bulbs on Monday and see if I can be cheeky to pick them up the same day... Cheers |
