I notice recently when I plug in my headphones to the iPhone 3g headset slot, the icon that shows on the screen saying "ringer(headphones)" waking the phone from idle/ sleep mode doesn't come up anymore. Moreover when I plug in the headphone to the iPhone jack the phone doesn't wake from sleep!It used to come up for about 3 secs then fades away...
other than that all else works fine, I can listen to mp3 and adjust volumes and it does still says "ringer(headphones)" but I am just curious why the initial notice for when the headphones are plugged in is gone.
