Question Thompson BMW-Mod friendly?

hello-
i have the BMS dual cone intake and JB3....and i'd like to find a mod friendly dealer to avoid problems...

i just read a post that said that West German BMW is NOT mod friendly and they happen to be my nearest dealer.
have other members found that WG BMW is NOT mod friendly?

Is Thompson BMW mod friendly? they would be the next closest dealer for me.

TIA-Chris

Thompson is a dinan dealer. I use them. I do know they have found tunes beside dinan but not sure if they "flagged" them. I do know they flagged 1 at least with blown cylinders.
I suggest calling and talking to Dan. He is the Dinan rep at thompson and is very knowledgeable and willing to talk about mods. Just ask him and he will tell you(you don't even have to give your real name). He had told me last year that he knew of cars running "vishnu tune" and other tunes/mods. Basically he told me as long as there were no problems they wouldn't just flag a car.
Keep in mind this was last december before the whole progman 29.2-30.?? and before BMW sent the memorandums to crack down on tunes.

West German is very Anti-Dinan. I know a service tech very well who works there(going on 12 years) and he is also anti dinan( and every other tune too).
He'll do side work for me but NOTHING involving piggy's or tunes.

+1

Dan Gormley, who's the Dinan specialist is pretty cool, and so far they've been pretty relaxed about my car. I took my car in for wheel and tire warranty, and they did a service on my car with the dual cone intake in, because I had no idea they were going to go service it, and when I asked if that would be a problem, my service guy Wayne was like, nope. But then again, they may be giving me some special treatment after having lost the key to my car once... That was a fiasco. I had to go home to get my spare, and they ordered me a new replacement.
