BMW Performance video clip. Exhaust question.

Hi,

Here is a teaser BMW Performance video showing the new parts:

What I wonder is...do they show a non-335i 3-series in that video (like 328i) ? I notice the exhaust has different position of the tailpipes than the regular 335i (more like the 135i). Could a new BMW Performance exhaust be available for the 335i which has this kind of pipes ?

I can tell you one thing... BMW is really pushing the 1-series as their "Performance" car. At the NAIAS they had a 135i with every BMW Performance part (brakes, wheels, suspension, exhaust, steering wheel, short shifter, mirror covers, front and rear bodywork, trunk spoiler). Had to be $15K in mods. Unfortunately, they didn't have the BMW Performance seats.

They only had a 335d and an M3 representing the 3-series at the NAIAS.

I think 335i is also being pushed now that the new supercharged S4 is being launched. Otherwise I can't explain these many new power mods for the 335i. I mean, its been 3 years since launch and even the facelift was launched and no nice mods...until now

It's not a 335i for sure. And since it's from Germany, they got 318i, 320i, 325i and 330i. Hard to tell which one it is.

I did notice that the interior shot was from a diesel (diesel rev counter), but the car driving doesn't sound like a diesel.

I love the split 5 spoke wheels on the 3 in that video. I haven't found any information about them anywhere, but I hope they'll be made available at some point. Although, I imagine they'll be a small fortune.
