Thanks for all the replies
went with - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA:IT&ih=020 Got them to throw in new wheel bolts, locking nuts, BMW centre caps and Msport badges. Should have them tomorrow, gonna wait until my FK1000P wheel sealant arrives though to give them a couple of coats before I fit them on the car. |

I didnt actually buy them from that listing, I just rang the place direct and I gave them the make, model and age of the car, so hopefully they should fit the correct tyres accordingly, Ill soon find out today when they arrive, hopefully they will know what they are doing and will have fitted the 255's

I have 235s on the front and 265s on the back of my car, so as long as the offsets are correct you should have no problem.

I'm running 8.5x19"s on the front of mine with 235/35/19's with a 35mm offset and 9.9x19"s on the rears with 275/30/19's with a 40 mm offset with out any problems.
THere's still room to go with a lower offset at both ends and I am planning on adding spacers so I can't see a problem with either of them fitting. J. |

Well my new wheels arrived today and what can I say except I was really really not happy, perhaps I should start a seperate post naming and shaming the company that supplied them to warn other members to stay clear!
Firstly, I was told they would arrive yesterday, so I waited in all day, and guess what, no wheels, so I ring them at 9am this morning and am told "sorry, I forgot to ring you and tell you that we didnt get them out in time for yesterdays delivery, and you will 100% have them today". So I thought fair enough, I can live with that. Delivery driver turns up around 12pm, and I take receipt of the wheels, 1st thing I notice is that the new bolts I was promised werent there, upon unwrapping one of the rears, I find loose balancing weights in the packaging. But.... It gets worse..... One of the centre caps looks like they have kicked it around the shop floor before fitting it, and the 2 front rotational tyres, have both been fitted with the same rotation!!! So I ring the place up and they agree to send out 4 new centre caps, and new bolts, but tell me theres not alot they can do about the back to front tyre and the unbalanced wheel!!!! As you can imagine, I had a few choice words to say down the phone at this point, and Im told to ring the lodon depot where they came from (I purchased them from the place in manchester) to which I had a few more choice things to say along the lines of I paid you the money I want you to sort it. He eventually says he will sort out a refund of the cost of getting the tyre turned around, and having the other wheel balanced. Whether this materialises without me further having to chase them I am yet to find out. So I drop the wrongly directioned wheel off at the tyre fitters (costing £10 for fitting and balancing), and when I collect it he asks who on earth balanced it as it looks as if they have just randomly chucked the weights on from a distance!!! So now I am going to have to take the time out to drop the car off, and have the others balanced just to make sure costing me a further £5 a wheel!!! Also I specifically bought the wheels for the tyre sizes and offsets state in the listing, but when they have come, the rears ET45 with a 275/30/19 tyre, and I personally think they sit too far in, so am now also going to have to buy a pair of spacers. Needless to say, I am not a happy bunny. Rant Over LOL |

Make sure you get hub-centric spacers if spacers are necessary. If I were you I'd be inclined to sent the whole lot back.

your probably right, as I am wanting to drop it around 30mm in the near furture, the 19's havent filled up the arches half as much as I would have liked them too, its suprising how small they look on the car. Id like to slam it right down, but its neither practical nor comfortable lol, im hoping no more than a 30mm drop with just springs wont sacrifice the ride comfort to much.
