Alarm question

im getting my e92 the first week of november and was wondering if i should get an alarm. i talked to my dealer and he said that when locked and someone breaks the window- the doors deadbolt and the gas line is cut off. so even if someone did get into the car thru the window, they couldnt start it or move the steering wheel. he said the car is un-stealable unless they put it on a flatbed or something.
so the purchasing of an alarm will just give u the bleeping red light and the siren. is that worth the $500 +?

I was wondering the same thing. We originally did not buy an alarm on my car because it was so expensive for almost nothing. If you find a cheaper alarm system please post it, my boyfriend is looking for me this week too so if I know of anything I will let you know also...

Garage List
Always get an loud alarm with an immobiliser... you can always use it to scare off thieves outside your home.... or at the lights...

can we set the timer of the siren so it won't make sounds until I press stop? I don't want to piss people off with going off all day if I am not around. Something like goes off for 3 min. and then stops by itself. I am talking about the factory alarm by dealer on 328 cp.
