Bug removal
I'm trying to deal with bug reamains on the front of my black e90.
I have washed the car but still have "bug marks" on the bumper and hood. I gather from the the previous threads that rubbing is a bad idea. What is the best approach and product? Thanks in advance. Mike |

BMW makes their own bug removal spray, you could try that first. Parts Department gave me a bottle for free but as of yet no need to use it so unfortunately I couldn't tell you how well it works.

If they won't come off while you are washing, and you don't have a chemical bug remover, the trusty clay bar works every time and doesn't scratch the paint. If you do used clay to remove bugs, it will remove any wax or paint sealer you have on the finish, so you might want to re-apply your product of choice to the affected areas when you are done.
