Not trying to sound like an asshole, but what advantage does the Code3/Spearco FMIC have over the Helix, which right now has a group buy putting it right at around $900. Apparently the Helix offers lower IAT's especially over a long period of time... any thoughts on this? Just not sure what causes the huge price difference, expecially a price increase.

Thanks!

Let us see some dyno number from Helix! Without it, we have nothing to compare. One can not rely on the IAT data alone!

BTW, Brandon from Code3 Performance just gave me the green light to do another GB:

I just noticed that on your website there is a "Code Three Performance Flex coupling upgrade" available (49,95). Could you briefly explain what it is good for, why it is not shipped with the intercooler itself and in which situations it might be advisable to have it installed? Thank you.

It's an upgrade for the factory flex coupler between the Code3 discharge tube and the oem intake tube. It is not needed, but because this upgraded hose has a smooth inner walls, less turbulence is created, and it can take higher boost levels without failure.

Code3's website is being updated, that may be why.
