Hartge Exhaust

I think my remap/exhaust plans and results are well discussed on my original thread 'e92 M3 - has anyone increased their bhp yet' but now I've pulled my finger out and actually taken some photo's, I thought they deserved their own thread!

See some various pics of the exhaust and a couple of other sneaky shots of my car below. As you can see, the exhausts look like most performance exhausts on M3's do; they fit well, look good, sound very nice (although they are the TUV approved ones, they're still quite loud) and, as I've already said elsewhere, the cat part has made a huge difference to the feel of power. I would say though...compared with other makes, this Hartge item is extremely overpriced

OK...I do have 1 clip that I took this afternoon. BUT...the missus was in the car doing the honours with the throttle and, well, she wasn't all that good at it bless her! Probably doesn't show it off at it's best but I'll get some better clips next weekend.

I'm based in Loughborough, Leicestershire so nice and central if anyone wants to see it in person!!

Click on this link to hear it...

Oh by the way...this one ain't supposed to be loud. I wanted the quiet one but it's still bloody loud enough!

Ahem....

Far too much!

The back box on it's own is nearly £1.8k fitted and the 100-cell cat and full system was knocking on the door of £5k fitted with a discount!!

Yes, I did pay this for the whole system....some would say rather foolishly.

But I absolutely loved the way this particular one looked and fitted however in hindsight it may be the same or a very similar system to the Supersprint one!

So, doing it again, I'd probably go for that one and save myself £1.5k or so!

Looks and sounds nice and you say you've noticed an improvement in power so as long as you're happy. Not cheap though.

Does your wife know how much it cost?

Oh yeah...my girlfriend's very reasonable about such things.

Goes a bit like this....as long as I earn it and the bills are paid I can do what I want with what's left (although she does get some nice holidays out of me too!!)

Very nice buddy - sounds great, very rich deep sound - cant quite believe the cost but you gets what you pay for in life and im sure the quality speaks for itself. Hope to see it in the flesh sometime soon.

Thanks for all the nice comments

Now I'm totally used to the car, sometimes I just see it as 'just another white M3'....familiarity breeds contempt (or something like that anyway!)
