tune only, not a chance. unless he is running 30 psi on that tune in which case you probably won't make it too far until you need a tow truck.

Dodgy for sure.

this forum to find what's out there, who's using it, and what kind of gains they're getting.

Remember...safety first and you're safer going with a widely adopted tune with a solid rep than some dude down the street.

its probably a jb3 or a v3. this guy probably see's cars with full mods and jb3/v3 putting down 400+whp which equates to 450hp or more and he's just saying that it makes over 150hp. lot of people out there who think like this. sad but true.

Please put the wallet down and step away from the vehicle. I'd hate to see you end up with a $50k paper weight.

Exactly. Its probably JB3 by the price. And maybe he meant "brake horse power" and not "base horse power". Which with a tune (+ intake and a high octane fuel) is possible.

But you can spare ~$200 by buying from a reputable online store and installing it yourself.

I can get you 150 horsepower for $899. It's called 150 shot of nitrious oxide. Wanna purchase? LOL

Whats "base horse power"? I've heard of Brake HP but not base...

I'm pretty sure base HP is the manufacture's horsepower specifcation. For example, BMW says the 335 is 300 base hp and 300 ft. lbs of torque? I have one and not even sure about the specs. What kind of enthusiasts am I?
