Hey everyone,

Well It's been a while since I have visted the forum. I have been enjoying my M3 and Z06 alot! I recently decided I could fit in a payment for a 335i because I need a daily driver, and I don't like racking up the miles on my M3. Does this look like a good buy to yall? I have no knowledge or dealings with Dinan and I would love some opinions on the upgrades this car has. I researched it but I just can't find much info on the stage 3 tune. Any help would be much appreciated!

Yea I went to Dinan's website but I'm really trying to find some performance figures with this package against say a JB3 or V3? I don't think many people have this Package since it seems really exspensive compared to a JB3!

Nah forget it... You already have the M3 Coupe and Z06, you need a daily driver ..
get a brand new E90 335 LCI... That way you have a new car and it's the LCI which looks better and has all the new stuff for 2009 (updated Idrive is a huge one)

Also get the E90 4 door so it does not look too similar to your M3, and that way you also have a more practical daily driver...

No need for the Dinan stuff when you already have the fun cars... New all the way

If you insist of the performance and safety... Again buy a new 09, add Proceded or JB3, upgraded Oil cooler, upgraded FMIC and you are set...
forget Dinan... The above mentioned mods will give you more performance than the Dinan S3 for around $2500.. Throw in an intake and Down pipes for another grand and you have an 09 that is faster in a straight line than your M3...

but my opinion is still get an 09 and keep it stock.. You already have the fun cars

LCI is the mid life freshning recently offered on the E90 4 door sedan 3 series for 2009
Cosmetic changes include: New front bumper, new headlights, new rear light
and most important upgraded and much improved Idrive along with some other stuff... (new colours and interior colors and trims)

go to any dealer and check out the 09 sedan compared to an 08, you will see the new changes

What are the changes for the 09? Is it even out yet? I'm really looking to get a 335i within the end of this month and I'm not interested in ordering one after all the hassle to get my M3. I would rather buy a used 08 if this is the case

09's are out and sitting on dealers' lots..

The sedans E90 have both cosmetic and Idrive upgrades, the E92 and E93 coupe and vert only get the new Idrive for now

It looks like an outstanding deal. That suite of mods is fully sorted out and warrantied by Dinan. The major benefit with the 2009 cars is the eventual arrival of the DCT transmission. The rest of the LCI stuff is pretty minor.

You really have to decide if that body style (you already have a couple of 2 doors) color and trim combination work for you. As far as performance goes, you're not going to get the same level of reliability and smoothness by simply slapping a V3 or JB3 onto an otherwise stock 09. And remember, once you do that, you risk throwing your factory warranty out the window.

The Dinan S3 335 is a '3' dressed up as an M3. Watch this video comparing the 2 and you'll get a good idea about what the Dinan 3 is all about.

You'll essentially be buying something you aready own. Why not add something different to your aready impressive stable? Go luxury I say. Lord knows you've got the 'sport' category covered.

Definantley a view I didn't look at! I guess I didn't realize just how fast the stage 3 is. I'm so torn right now on what to do, this Dinan looks like a great car and the remainder of the warranty won't be voided, which is good because as I said, this will be my daily driver. Ughh . Keep giving your opinion! I enjoy what ya'll have to say.
