hey guys/girls
i have a slight issue.

i have britalman exhaust with the stock down pipes the girl friend is bitching about how loud my exhaust is on the highway other words it drones to much

. i was wondering if i removed the britalman mufflers, just the mufflers, and put the stock one back on and make the piping work. how loud do you think it will be?

ps how much power would i lose

come on chill down :-) i have no idea about Britalman and how it sounds but i guess the only way for you is to change it with something that does not drone or add some kind of resonator in between?

Adding the stock mufflers back to the exhaust may quiet down the noise/drone. If anything, the power increase with the new exhaust is probably minimal (+10whp?) so you shouldn't really feel any tangible decrease in power with the stock mufflers.

However, instead of removing/adding mufflers, why not add an x-pipe or resonators? It may help quiet down the exhaust. Mr.5 did that when he was experimenting with his custom exhaust (got rid of stock resonators and added an x-pipe) and had good results.

Not sure how the system is designed but is it possible to add aftermarket resonators anywhere?

I wanna hear that exhaust sound cause I'm sure it can't be that bad.

Anyway I would go with the resonator.

funny thing is it's not bad.

actually i bought mr. 5 old resonators

off of him i just have to take it to get installed. i was trying to come up with as many idea's as possible thanks guys
