Looks Great Mike! That's exactly where I'm mounting mine! Was the install very difficult? You should do a DIY on it.

I don't remember, does the gauge show & hold peak boost?

You drill a hole in the coin tray on the left, right side or directly behind it? And from there I'm assuming you ran it through the steering wheel pass-thru into the engine compartment or thru the glove box and the ECU grommet?

Oh and DIY this yo for others to follow!

I can post a full DIY later, but the short of it is this..

1) Install gauge into JB3

2) Run wire through the steering wheel gromet (its huge so its super easy)

3) Remove ashtray receptacle (the thing you ash in and then can remove to dump the ashes - you won't need this piece anymore)

3) Remove center console, shifter, and unscrew the ashtray from the console (held in place by 4 T10 hex screws) and unclip it from the power line (simple clip)

4) Drill a hole in the bottom, either using a drill, dremel or router. (should 2 inches by 1 inch) Big enough to slide the gauge in.

5) don't worry about the hole as it won't be visible, and if you ever want to return to stock the ashtray mounts above and you can't see the hole.

6) Run gauge in, and feed wire so that it's invisible and tuck loose wire out of the way.

7) I used 2 sided tape to secure the gauge. The gauge is very light and fits perfectly so the two sided tape hold extremely well.

8) put everything back together and enjoy you secret computer/gauge

9) I left about 4-6" of slack in the line so I can pull the gauge out and swap chips in the future, as the software in the gauge is upgradable and Terry and Russ will be releasing updates every so often. This is one great feature of this platform, in that you can update the software on the gauge yourself so you are always current with the latest goodies..

So you have to have a JB3 to get one? I have the JB+, and want a boost gauge

Shows peak boost and peak IAT.

I am also running Rix's boost gauge and this one is within +/- 0.2 PSI after I re-calibrated Rix's gauge (Thanks Rix for you help with that)

cool little gauge but FAR from the optimal place to put it. I would put it right near my OEM gauges.

at least it records peak boost/iat, otherwise you would really have a hard time seeing any readouts while driving.

does it record like the defi gauges do?
