335 i or D issues on DynaPack Dyno?
I've just had my car Bluefinned (more later) and I was looking to arrange a RR session.
After speaking to the guys today, they mentioned that they've had issues with some autos on the Dynapack hub dynos they use. Apart from needing to hold max revs in 4th they also need to set off in 4th.... I think the semi-auto may have an issue with this as it does up and down change even in DS Manual if the revs are too low or into the redline. Has anyone here had their 335 tested on the dynapack dynos? How did they perform and how accurate were they? Before shelling out £40 for a run, I'd like to know the thing will work and give some accurate results... I have my doubts especially as holding at or before the redline may not give totally accurate results... It may be easier to go for a simple rolling road..... ?? |

As no other 335d has been done on that type of rollers then you won't really have a comparative guide, you will however be able to see the difference between std and bluefin. Best bet would be to put it on a Dyno Dynamics or similar. Jules. Last edited by Jude1; 03-25-2009 at 08:16 AM.. |
