190 miles is a long time in a car to be sitting, maybe a short break or something like a 5 min stretch is ample to relax the muscles as driving makes you stressed and tense.

I takes me months to find the right position, I use both memory seat buttons to store slightly different angles and play with each every week, even now.

I've had lower back problems for years now due to a slightly curved spine.
I find that having the sat in a slightly more reclines position helps. Also don't have the seat bottom angle too high, keep it just level enough where you don't feel any pressure on the back of your legs when pushing down on the pedals. Its also important to push your arse as far back into the seat as possible. works for me.

Do you normally bring the sides of the seat in a bit? I do (sports seats in an SE) and I find that they do gradually "go down" a bit and need to be fiddled with.
Personally I could do with half a notch on the back rest angle, where I have the seat is a little too upright, and the next notch back is too far back - so I agree with madman, having the seat in my normal position gives me a bit of an ache in the kidney area if I've done 4-5 hours (not saying how many miles ;-P ) and moving the seat back, back a bit helps (but feels weird,as it's too far back).

I try and keep my seat as upright and low as possible with side bolsters closed in.
then after that a slight tilt back. Also chill out driving too fast makes you tense out.

Assume the M-Sport standard seats are the same as my sport seat option - there a rocker switch on the side of the seat base, towards the front.

![]() Ok, so reset my seat (what car has a usefull guide to finding good position ) I now have a driving position similar to comments above - low-ish seat height, no incline on base, slight recline on back and side bolsters providing more support. Will see how I get on! ![]() Cheers.
