My 2006 325i now has 67,000 kms. Purchase as a CPO in 2007 and it has been mechanically solid. Love this car. My previous e46 and this e90 are the only cars I drive for no apparent reason, or with no real destination in mind. I think this is what separates a BMW driver from those that simply drive one for the badge ot impress people. I expect to get 250,000kms + from this car, no problem. Changing oil halfway between CBO reading. Should last forever!

If you buy out your lease for the residual amount, it is not considered CPO.
If you return the car at the end of your lease, and the dealer keeps it and makes it a CPO, that is a different situation - but they will then price it accordingly.

I think the residuals of the 06s and 07s were really high (too high for the current market), and you might be able to buy the car back for less - any one have any experience with this?

Mech UT....how is the car? I believe you were one of the high mileage guys that is paving the way for how solid the 2006 model year truly is. What's the click count? any issues?
