moonroof felt dirt -> scratch
I'm not sure when or how I did it, but I just noticed linear paint scratches starting from the felt area around my moonroof. I'm guessing during some wiping process, I dislodged some dirt particles from the felt and wiped them along the paint. I would imagine particles get trapped in the felt fairly easily. Couldn't get good pictures of the scratches, sorry.
Has this happened to anyone else? Do you use extreme caution when wiping the moonroof or the paint around it? Thanks. |

I need to be more thorough with my washes and will have to maintain extreme anality after I polish out those scratches. I use mf towels from microfibertech, since they are local to me and I can just drop by to pick up what I need. Don't have any other scratches on other areas of the car...knock on wood. Coming from silver cars, boy, it's pretty hard trying to keep my monaco blue daily driver looking good.
