Hey everyone,

How goes things? The dealership washed my car last week leaving mico scratches all over it. You can only see them in the sun at certain angles but they drive me crazy. I just bought a flex with lake county pads ( Blue, Black, White, and orange.)
My question:
What pad combo and product would you recommend? As far as Polish, Glaze, and I have a bottle of jetseal for seal I just need help on the others. And the process. You remove the product after the polish with a MF towel right?

I've watched videos on you tube for technique, because I know it requires skill.

These are the steps right?
1.Wash CG citrus wash.
2. Clay Clay Magic Fine or Medium?
3.Polish What do you recommend?
Then do I wipe the polish off with a MF towel?
4.Glaze same apply and wipe off with a MF towel?
5.Seal Jet Seal wipe off with MF and let sit over night
6. P21 Wax

Any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

2. either is fine
3. depends how deep scratches are. which polishes do you have?
4. unnecessary imo if you did a good job polishing... which you can since you have a flex and a variety of pads
5. seal, leave overnight, THEN wipe
6. nice

no polish bought yet I was hoping someone could recommend a pad polish combo to remove many, many mico scratches not visible unless seen in evening sunlight it's pretty bad then. I'll get a light this weekend.

since you have the pads already, i'd recommend one of the two combos

menzerna SIP via white or orange
menzerna 106FF or 106FA via white or black

I'd use 106FF with white if you used orange first.

the other combo is...

menzerna power finish PO203S with white or orange
menzerna PO85RD with black

PO203S on orange to PO85RD would be a big jump though...

If you're open to buying new pads though, I'm willing to bet that detailersdomain's power finish combo will work great for you. Here's a link to the product

The green pad will give you a good amount of cut and it finishes well. In combination with a polish that cuts like SIP and finishes well, PO85RD is the next logical step. Blue pad finishes even finer than black pad, so you'd be set if you get that kit.

Since 32 oz of product costs roughly 40 dollars for 32 oz each, this kit is only about 20 dollars more for supplies and products that will definitely be good enough for you!

Thanks for the advice I think I'll end up getting that kit. I use PO203s when green pad then PO85RD with blue? or do I just need to use one or the other?
