I have a great dealership and they have done a lot for me even though my car is highly modified. They said it would bring way too much attention to replace the under warranty. I guess O2's don't go out much

Thank you
get the Bosch from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000BZG8ZU

cheapest i have found. Only thing is they are not a direct Plug & Play... you need to modify the harness and wire the 02 sensor in. Same brand as the OEM ones tho

hope this helps you out!

Its one thing is one 02 sensor goes out. But if all of them go out on a low mileage car at the same time, it will definitely raise a warranty red flag!

Has your HPFP been replaced under warranty?

Twice and spark plugs. Also my oil changes have been no problem and I just leave the care the way it sits, intakes, DP, intercooler and JB3

Must be nice.

They voided my warranty because of those same mods. At 6k miles, no less.

Sorry buddy, that sucks. Did you not know anyone at the dealer? What needed to be done to your car when they voided the warranty?

Shit! The dealer wants $234 for each sensor. I knew the front would
be expensive but I was told the rears were like $60

Those are great prices at under $50 bucks each, even Tisher wants $172.00 each.
What would I need to do to make them fit, just cut and use my old connectors?

BTW my friend found that a Mustang's O2 sensor works and snaps in perfectly into his M3 E30 $200 compared to $60. I wonder if the 335 shares a part with a cheaper car?

That's a good point. only a few companies like Bosch and Denso etc make fuel injectors and O2 sensors. You may well be able to cross reference another car to avoid the dreaded "BMW premium".

I think I found at least one of them (bosch part 17099) here for $118: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000JZCYWI/...0&linkCode=asn Amazon was cheapest as everyone else seemed to want $160-$180. This is the exact fit part.

Find the bmw part numbers you off of REALOEM.COM, check the sensors themselves etc, then go to the bosch website and look it up http://bmwfans.info/parts/catalog/11787545074/

I found several bosch part numbers for a 2007 335XI (oddly nothing for the 335i) here: http://www.boschautoparts.com/RB.NA....=2007&Make=BMW
(Copied from that link)
Bosch Part Number Description
15733 Oxygen Sensor - OE SmartLink - Universal Fit - Downstream Sensor Located in front manifold / exhaust pipe; 4 Wire; Heated; Check / Replace Interval: 100,000 Miles

15733 Oxygen Sensor - OE SmartLink - Universal Fit - Downstream Sensor Located in rear manifold / exhaust pipe; 4 Wire; Heated; Check / Replace Interval: 100,000 Miles

16795 Oxygen Sensor - OE Type - Exact Fit - Downstream Sensor Located in front manifold / exhaust pipe; 4 Wire; Heated; Check / Replace Interval: 100,000 Miles

16796 Oxygen Sensor - OE Type - Exact Fit - Downstream Sensor Located in rear manifold / exhaust pipe; 4 Wire; Heated; Check / Replace Interval: 100,000 Miles

17098 Wideband A/F Sensor - OE Type - Exact Fit - Upstream Sensor Located in front manifold / exhaust pipe; 5 Wire; Wideband A/F; Check / Replace Interval: 100,000 Miles

17099 Wideband A/F Sensor - OE Type - Exact Fit - Upstream Sensor Located in rear manifold / exhaust pipe; 5 Wire; Wideband A/F; Check / Replace Interval: 100,000 Miles

Try some local or online parts supplies for these Bosch part numbers and you should be in business.

Also, be wary of the dealer and suggested parts replacements. Most dealerships' service writers (guys you talk to) are commissioned salespeople that make $ from selling repairs. Thus when troubleshooting a list of possible bad parts with your car, they always start with the most expensive (or multiple) and work their way down from there. i.e. see if you can get a list of codes they claim tells them they need to change all the 02 sensors. Sound suspicious to me.

eg on my last dealer repair years ago, my 1995 maxima had a misfire- real rough running engine. I brought it to Nissan and they put it on the scope for $80 and said I needed to "replace all 6 spark plugs, all 6 coil packs and all 6 fuel injectors. Cost $1200." WTF? I brought it home and unplugged one coil pack at a time until I found a dead cylinder, changed the plug and coil pack with no luck, then put in a new fuel injector and was done for about $120 and 4 hrs of my time.

Yep, just cut your old connector and use it on the new Bosch sensor and you're good to go!
