Spider Web Scratches!
I cant take it anymore. I did a full detail on my mustang about 2 weeks ago, and i washed it yesterday and it looked fine when i pulled it in the garage, couldn't see any added spider web scratches, etc. But today it was in the sun, and i saw quite a few added spider web scratches around the car i was like WTF!!! I cant win. I am using 2 buckets ,grit guard, tile grout sponges which are THOROUGHLY cleaned after each use, and im just frustrated. What could i be doing wrong?

use a porter cable or makita (or any variable speed buffer) and use very light cutting polish and then throw a coat of wax on it that should do the job
1.any swirl remover meguiars, mothers (subsitute for polish) 2.meguirs nxt wax or turtle wax ICE liquid polish (i recommend the iCE) 3.if you have a electric drill get a mothers powerball at autozone (subsitute for variable speed works fine) gl

I actually did a 3step polish with PC. And put opti-seal on the entire car, then the next day put a coat of Chemical guys extreme depth on the car. To be honest though the wax didn't last longer then a week. I think im going to order some new wax.

How are you drying the car and what are you using?
Try blotting with a waffle weave microfiber of good quality. Also, when you're done washing, take the nozzle off the hose and run the water over the car so it sheets off leaving you less to have to dry and minimizing the opportunity for scratches. |

Lol yepp . I use detailed image waffle weave towels. And i do sheeting method. I'm thinking maybe my car just has some soft paint, don't know if mustangs are infamous for that or not.
