canon xsi + 17-40mm L lens?
can anyone show me some pics of this set up. canon xsi + 17-40mm L lens or a non full frame dslr with this lens in general? im debating if i should buy this or not. i DO plan to upgrade to a full frame camera later on. btw is there a difference between a imported lens or usa lens? apparently i have the option of choosing: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont....y=0&Go=submit

its a good combo and thats a good lens. The 16-35 is faster, but for the price, the 17-40 is great.
both imported and usa are the same lens, except that you the usa based one has warranty from canon usa, and the imported would have warranty (should check with bh on this) from bhphotovideo directly.

Well it depends on what you want. On the XSi the 17-40mm is very similar to the 18-55mm. I wouldn't get the 17-40mm if you're going to use a digital crop DSLR. Instead, if you want wide-angle, get the 10-22mm. That's probably what you're looking for anyways.
