Hello, first of all just wanted to thank everyone for all the great info on this sit.
I just got an e90 335i. I had a 2001 m5, which started making a knocking sound couple of weeks ago. I took it to the dealer and they told me its a rod-knock problem and the engine needs to be rebuilt or changed. Heart breaking for me especially after babying the car for the past 5yrs. Anyways, had to end up selling it for half what it was worth and going to a 335i. So far I'm very happy with the car.
I'm planing on getting the Dinan softwar for it and 19s.

look in the turbo section before u get Dinan software.
