Great photo shoot spots?

Anyone have suggestions for spots for a great photo shoot in downtown or around the LA area?

My personal opinion is that part of the joy of photography is discovering these spots yourself. Try just driving around until you find a spot, and it will seem so much better than if someone just says oh you make a left on blah and keep on going until blah blah blah

Yep. Even on a site like Diesel station where the big dogs post up their stuff, it's a cardinal sin to even ask for the location.

Finding a good location is 80% of the work IMO. It's hard to do so most just settle for the typical shoot in a parking lot at night theme.

depends what kind of feel you're looking for..but santa monica pier is nice at sunset, you get a nice angle if you shoot with the sun on your back.
