2007 328i Brakes

I have a 2007 328i, the breaks work perfectly fine, but they squeak ever since I purchased the car in 2007. I purchased the maintenance package and have had BMW look at my brakes when I have brought my car in. They said my brakes are fine, its just the car is so intricate and with all the "green" factors that go into making the parts, that does happen. Does anybody else have this? In the grand scheme of things it is not that big a deal, as the brakes work fine....but when you drop the cash for a bmw....ya know

my 328(April 2007 production) has been in for brake service 3 times since I got it in May 2007. at 3000 miles the pads were repalced, and 5300 miles the rotors were resurfaced and pads replaced again, at 10,000 miles rotors replaced.
car now is 27 months old with 16,700 miles, brakes still squeak... I basically have stopped caring since the lease goes back in a few

The thing is that there is absolutely nothing wrong with noisy brakes. Other than the annoyance factor. Most higher end race pads just about always squeak. So the 2 solutions you have are a)ignore the sound or b)change the pad type. You can go with things like Carbotech or Cool Carbon and they are better in every way, including stopping power, noise and dust.

They also sell silencer kits, it's a paste you put on the back of the pad which is supposed to damped the vibration that makes the noise. I am assuming the dealer has tried this already.
