BMW trade-in question

aright , so i got a 3231 about 2 months ago at the local bmw dealership. Currently i pay 500$ a month for my car canadian dollars by the way.
yesterday i drove by the dealership and i see a 328i on display outside with huge stickers on the side $500". how come a 328i is the same amount as my 323i?
i dont get it, is there anyway i could trade my car in for a 328i or is it to late now?

by the way, my car is a lease

and probably a higher residual value on the 328. Remember that are many factors that go into calculating a lease payment. Cap reduction, MF, residual value, etc etc.

NO NEED to stop by and check, in Canada 323i starts at 35,600, 328i starts at 41,000

+1. The fine prints will def make the $500 deal sour.

Sounds very real to me. Residual on 328 is 64% for 36 months.
According to bmw.ca you can get 328 for 499 with 3400$ down. Base model though.
Play with online configuration tool and you will see for your-self.
323 never had residual that high, even now lease payment for 323 is not much lower than 328.
