CT Members - CDV Delete? I wanna drive one before I do it...

Anyone local in CT that has done this mod, would you mind if I tested your car out before I do this to my car? I'm totally sick of the 1-2 shift and heard this is just about the only way to smooth it out. I can meet up somewhere, I'm in West Hartford with my '06 330xi. Any takers?
