Anyone with decent detailing skills in SoCal HELP!
A friend debadged my car for me (knew I should have done it myself
 ) and scratched up the area where the badge was like crazy. From far away, it just looks like the paint is flat; I'm positive it can be polished out. I have the products, but not the experience or power tools or scratch remover, if that's what is necessary. I'll pay you or do a photoshoot of your car or something in return for your help in fixing the scratches  Please PM me.. these scatches are really bugging me.

If you can't get someone for whatever reason, might want to try ScratchX. It can be applied by hand and does a good job. Any local autoparts place should have it.

I was just going to recommend scratchX or quixx myself. the area sounds bad; how does one leave that many scratches when debadging? lol

Not a problem at all.................here is a link to an article I wrote on debadging. Unless the paint was butchered by your buddy it should be repairable.

I'll put up some pictures of what the scratches look like. As I said, the area still looks jet black from far away, but when light shines on it, the paint looks flat. I believe it is fixable but I don't have enough detailing experience to know exactly how to approach it.
